So, I have been thinking...
I thought long and hard about what direction I wanted to take this blog beginning 2012. I didn't do a good job keeping up with my thoughts last year, and I would like this year to be just a little bit more productive. There are so many ideas I have about how to communicate better with my clients, prospective clients, people who where locks, and just the curious people that wonders about what it is we talk about.
So, some of my ideas are the following:
* Host weekly Q&A sessions via Skype or chat on Facebook
* Create videos about quick styles and updos for Sisterlocks and Traditional Locks
* Host quarterly gatherings for Lock and Sisterlock wearers.
These are only some of the ideas I have but I just don't know what is needed and am I too late since some of these things exist already. Then professionally there are things I think that I can do like, upload more pictures into a gallery on www.locksbylandi.com, update the QA section of the site with common questions that I read online, etc.
I don't think that I can do this alone...
If you have any suggestions or ideas on how you believe that this blog site or my web page may enhance your Sisterlocks or Lock journey, please reply to this post and I will definitely take all ideas and comments under consideration. Thanks, and stay tuned...

Just want to share my gratitude!
I am just reflecting on my life and thinking about how everything really does happen for a reason. I thank God for people that have come into my life. My friends, clients, family, and other associates are in my life for a purpose and it does not go unnoticed. My life has been much more than just being a Sister, Hair Stylist, Friend, Co-Worker, or Girlfriend/Wife. I can justify this because as a Sister, I have a friend (ask Chris), as a Friend, I have Sisters (ask Charisse, Carolyn, or Monique), and as a Hair Stylist, I have so many other things, (friend, sister, counselor, etc). I just want to take this time to tell everyone, that I LOVE YOU!

Thank you, Lord!
Today I completed yet another Sisterlock Install and Tyra B was a heaven sent. Thank you Lord for sending me clients that are an asset to me as I am to them. I truly believe that there is a reason for you to be in a particular place to meet a particular person.
Tyra was ready for the installation of her sisterlocks when she came in 2 weeks earlier for her consultation. Tyra did her research and talked to many people about her plan to begin her journey from Natural hair to Sisterlocks. As many times before, I began by making sectioned puffs and working systematically through each section.
Tyra's density is average, Cuticle is rough, and Curl Pattern is average and started with 5 inches of natural hair. Her hair was awesome for Sisterlocks and I look forward to seeing them develop.
Tyra, thank you for choosing me as your Certified Sisterlocks Consultant to begin your Sisterlocks journey.

Latest Pics of Me - 2/11
Ok, so in keeping this blog thing going I will make attempts to take pics of my hair along the way. I have had Sisterlocks since February 17th, 2002 so I am approaching my 9th year in my journey. Since my installation I undergone many looks, I grew them to my butt, I cut them in long layers, short layers and now cut in an "A" Line Bob. The following pictures were taken today at the request of my online followers. Thanks for the support and Stay Tuned.
